The negative voltage generator includes a negative voltage detector and a voltage pump circuit. The negative voltage detector includes a first circuit, a second circuit, and a comparison circuit. The first circuit is used for receiving a negative reference voltage and generating a first voltage according to the negative reference voltage. The second circuit is used for generating a second voltage. The comparison circuitis coupled to the first circuit to receive the first voltage, coupled to the second circuit to receive the second voltage, and compares the first voltage with the second voltage to generate a controlsignal. The voltage pump circuit is coupled to the negative voltage detector to receive the control signal, and generates a negative reference voltage according to the control signal.
