Abstract

The invention discloses a foliar fertilizer capable of simultaneously increasing the contents of thioglycoside and selenium in vegetables, and an application method thereof. When the foliar fertilizeris applied, the concentration of sulfur is 1-4 mM, and the concentration of the selenium is 30-150 MuM. The application frequency of the fertilizer is 7 days, and the application means includes dissolving the foliar fertilizer in water and then applying the liquid to leaf surfaces. Through application of the foliar fertilizer, the content of the total thioglycoside, the content of glucoraphanin and the content of the selenium in cabbages can be effectively increased by 16.4-47.2%, 48.2-84.0% and 6.8-40 times respectively, and the content of the glucoraphanin and the content of organic selenium in cauliflowers can be increased by 27.9-89.5% and 5.1-16.5 times respectively.
