Problems solved by technology

These jamming situations require at least the reverse of the sequence of motions that have led to the singularity to allow the user to move freely, and may even damage the exoskeleton structure and cause discomfort to the user

Embodiment Construction

[0037] figure 1 A front plane F, a sagittal plane S and a transverse plane T of the user are shown. In a known manner, the sagittal plane S is defined as a plane parallel to the median plane separating the left and right halves of the user's body. The frontal plane F or coronal plane is defined as the plane perpendicular to the median plane and dividing the body into an anterior or ventral part and a posterior or dorsal part. The transverse plane T or transverse plane is defined as the plane perpendicular to the median plane and dividing the body into an upper part (towards the head) and a lower part (towards the feet).

[0038] exist figure 1 In , the user stands with arms relaxed along the body. The user is equipped with an exoskeleton structure 1 capable of assisting the movement of his shoulders.

[0039] The exoskeleton structure 1 comprises a back assembly 2 attached to the user's back in normal use, an arm assembly 3 attached to the user's arms and shoulder attachme...

Abstract

The invention concerns an exoskeleton structure (1) comprising: a back assembly (2) intended to be attached on the back of a user, an arm assembly (3) intended to be attached to an arm of the user, ashoulder connection device (4) connecting the back assembly (2) to the arm assembly (3), the shoulder connection device (4) comprising a first pivot (10), a second pivot (12) and a third pivot (14), allowing a rotation of the arm assembly (3) with respect to the back assembly (2) about a first axis of rotation (X1), a second axis of rotation (X2) and a third axis of rotation (X3), wherein the second pivot (12) is designed such that the second axis of rotation (X2) forms a non-zero angle with an abduction / adduction axis of the shoulder of the user and a non-zero angle with a flexion / extension axis of the shoulder of the user when the user is standing with arms relaxed along the body.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to exoskeleton structures. Background technique [0002] A force-assisted exoskeleton is a mechanical structure that replicates the structure of the human skeleton and improves the physical capabilities of the human body. [0003] There are different types of force-assisted exoskeletons, depending on the task the user is trying to accomplish. Each type of exoskeleton can limit or reduce the force provided by the user during certain tasks. [0004] For example, there are exoskeleton structures that enable the user to be assisted when performing tasks requiring shoulder movement, particularly when lifting and carrying loads. [0005] However, these structures are generally not able to accommodate all movements of the shoulder. For example, these structures enable flexion and extension of the arm, but not abduction and adduction of the arm. [0006] However, the shoulder complex is a complex joint system (combining scapul...
