The desktop type intelligent flowerpot comprises a pot body, a watering device, a controller and a touch control panel, wherein the pot body comprises a planting chamber, a water storage chamber and an electronic elementchamber which are isolated from one another, and a humidity detection device is arranged in the pot body; the watering device is used for watering plants, the watering device is connected with a first water guide pipe, a first water pump is arranged in the water storage chamber, and the first water guide pipe communicates with a water outlet of the first water pump; the controller is arranged inthe electronic element chamber, a humidity threshold database is arranged in the controller, minimum humidity thresholds corresponding to different types of plants are recorded in the humidity threshold database, and the controller is further used for controlling a first relay K1 to be powered on when the soil humidity in the planting chamber is lower than the minimum humidity threshold of the settype of plants.
