Abstract

The invention discloses a method and system for detecting a tensioning state of an elevator speed governor rope. The method comprises the following steps: obtaining an image of a speed governor rope,wherein the image is shot by an image acquisition module opposite to a tensioning wheel; performing identification processing on the image by using a preset detection model to obtain information of the tensioning state of the speed governor rope; sending the information of the tensioning state outwards and displaying the same on a display device. The method has the advantages that whether the speed governor rope is in an abnormal state or not is recognized through the image acquisition and image recognition processing technology, so that an existing electric safety switch is replaced, and thefaults that an elevator stops abnormally and passengers are trapped due to misoperation of the electric safety switch are avoided.
