Problems solved by technology

The use of elastomer profiles as springs also presents the danger that deformations that occur during operation of the locking elements can cause dirt to be trapped in the springs in situ, which are poorly or even impossible to clean

Embodiment Construction

[0084] Other advantages, signs and features of the present invention will become clear in the following detailed description of the embodiments in conjunction with the accompanying drawings. However, the invention is not limited to the examples described.

[0085] figure 1 A schematic sectional side view of a resectoscope 12 according to the invention is shown, which has a delivery device 10 and an electrode instrument 42 which is movable longitudinally by means of a slide 62 of the delivery device 10 . The electrode device 42 is a system component 13 of the delivery device 10 , which is intended to be detachably held on the delivery device 10 by means of the locking system 18 .

[0086]The resectoscope 12 has a shaft 46 which includes a shaft system 48 shown in dashed lines, which in a manner not shown consists of a sleeve and an inner tube. Extending within the tube and rod system 48 is an optic conduit 50 and extending within the optic conduit 50 is an optic 54 . Extendi...

Abstract

The invention relates to a conveying device with a locking mechanism. The conveying device is used for an endoscopic surgical resectoscope, the conveying device having a connecting body and a locking system in the connecting body for connection to a system component, the locking system comprising an elongated locking part, preferably arranged transversely to the longitudinal axis of the a conveying tool, with an insertion opening or insertion groove, and a spring part, characterized in that one or more flushing channels arranged parallel to the longitudinal axis of the locking part are formed between the locking part and the connecting body. Furthermore, the invention relates to a resectoscope for use in endoscopic surgery, characterized in that it comprises a conveying device according to one of the preceding claims and preferably a system component locked within the conveying device.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a transport device. Background technique [0002] This type of delivery device is used in surgical procedures of the bladder and urethra in resectoscopes, mainly in urology. They are used, for example, in conjunction with electrosurgical through instruments to resect and vaporize tissue in the lower urethra. For this purpose, the resectoscope includes a longitudinally displaceable electrode instrument which, after insertion of the resectoscope, can protrude with its working distal end out of the distal end of the resectoscope shaft. [0003] The electrode instrument is connected at its proximal end to the resectoscope delivery device, from which it can be moved longitudinally to perform the cutting action. The delivery device is usually removably secured to the proximal end of the resectoscope shaft. [0004] The delivery tool has a longitudinally movable slide to which the electrode instruments can be connected for mutual l...
