The present invention relates to a pipette for use with a pipette tip having an integrated piston. The pipettor includes: a pipettor housing; a pin at a lower end of the pipette housing; a stroke rod for moving the piston, the stroke rod having a receptacle for the upper end of the piston, the pipette tip being held on the pin and engaging with the piston into the through-hole thereof, the stroke rod having a first means for positively connecting the stroke rod to the piston, wherein the piston has a second means for connecting the piston to the first means in a form-fitting manner, such that the piston can be introduced into the receptacle before the form-fitting connection of the stroke rod when the stroke rod is elastically expanded; a driving device; and a locking sleeve which can be moved into a locking position, in which the locking sleeve limits the lower end of the stroke rod or the upper end of the piston, thereby preventing the piston from disengaging from the stroke rod, and which can be moved upwards from the locking position such that the stroke rod or the upper end of the piston is released and the piston can be disengaged from the stroke rod.
