Abstract

A fragrance storage and dispensing system (200) is described. The system (200) comprises a base station (100) having a plurality of different storage containers (103) for storing a corresponding plurality of fragrances (106). Furthermore, the system (200) comprises a dispensing device (110) configured to be coupled to the base station (100) for transferring the flavour (106) from the base station (100) to the dispensing device (110), and configured to be decoupled from the base station (100) for dispensing the flavour (106) onto the food (120). The dispensing device (110) comprises at least one storage container (113) configured to contain the perfume (106) from one or more storage containers (103) of the base station (100) when the dispensing device (110) is coupled with the base station (100). Further, the dispensing device (110) comprises a controllable dispensing unit (114) configured to dispense the perfume (106) from the storage container (113) of the dispensing device (110).
