Disposable anti-fog airway adapter

A disposable anti-fog airway adapter for use with a mainstream respiratory gas analyzer which provides a measurement of a patient's inhaled and exhaled gases. The airway adapter includes windows that are constructed of a thin, low heat capacity plastic that rapidly equilibrates to the temperature of the warm moist gases in the patient breathing circuit. In addition, the inside of the windows is also coated with an anti-fog surfactant either by laminating an anti-fog film with the window plastic prior to attaching the window to the airway adapter body or by first attaching the window to the airway adapter body and then applying the surfactant to the airway adapter after the window film is bonded in place so that the surfactant coats the entire inside of the adapter. The surfactant functions to increase the critical wetting tension of the surface it covers so that water on the window spreads into a uniform thin layer which does not absorb very much infrared energy and thus does not significantly reduce the signal strength. "Instant on" operation is accomplished because no heater and the like is necessary to warm up the windows to maintain them at an elevated temperature to prevent fogging. Numerous techniques are also provided for adhering the windows to the airway adapter body so that a substantially airtight seal may be obtained.

Condensation prevention method for air conditioner, controller, system and air conditioner

The invention provides a condensation prevention method for an air conditioner, a controller, a system and the air conditioner, and relates to the technical field of air conditioners. The condensation prevention method for the air conditioner comprises the steps that whether an air deflector reaches the condensation critical condition or not is judged according to at least one of the temperature of the air deflector and the set refrigeration temperature, the environment temperature and the ambient humidity, wherein the condensation critical condition comprises the critical temperature difference when condensation occurs under each humidity condition; and if the air deflector reaches the condensation critical condition, the condensation prevention mode is started. According to the method, whether the condition for generating condensation is reached or not can be judged according to the ambient humidity, the temperature, the temperature of the air deflector and the set refrigeration temperature, generation of the condensation can be determined in time, the air conditioner is adjusted to enter the condensation prevention mode under the condition that the condensation is determined to be generated, and therefore the generation of the condensation on the air deflector of an indoor unit can be reduced.

Control method and device for condensation prevention of air conditioner and air conditioner

The invention discloses a control method and device for condensation prevention of an air conditioner and the air conditioner. The method comprises following steps: determining whether the wind level set by the air conditioner is higher than medium-speed wind level or not when the air conditioner operates in a cooling state and a compressor of the air conditioner is started; obtaining first temperature difference between indoor ambient temperature of the set wind level and inner evaporator tube temperature when the set wind level is less than or equal to the medium-speed wind level and determining whether the first temperature difference satisfies first pre-set temperature of corresponding wind level in different wind levels below the medium-speed wind level; increasing the angle of a wind guide plate, and / or rotating speed of an inner fan of the air conditioner when the first temperature difference is smaller than or equal to the first pre-set temperature and when the angle of the wind guide plate is the pre-set minimum value, and therefore the air conditioner is in the pre-set condensation prevention mode. The technical scheme provided by the control method and device for condensation prevention of the air conditioner and the air conditioner has following beneficial effects: defects in the prior art such as the proneness of generating condensation, bad environmental health and poor users' experience are solved; condensation is not easily generated; the environmental health is good; and users' experience is good.
