Abstract

The invention relates to a humidifying device. The humidifying device is provided with a compartment for receiving a removable humidifying chamber. The apparatus has an actuator operable by a user to move the humidification chamber from an operating position to a release position. In the operational position, the humidification chamber is received by the humidification compartment and forms part of a flow path through the humidification device. In the release position, the humidification chamber is displaced outwardly from the operative position, enabling a user to more easily remove the humidification chamber from the device.
