The mobile phone disclosed in the present invention has a key operation unit in which a plurality of small keys are arranged close to each other. Users sometimes press multiple keys simultaneously. The mobile phone stores, for combinations of keys, data relating to the frequency with which the user has made key determinations in the past when these keys were pressed simultaneously. When a plurality of keys are pressed simultaneously, a key determined to be the highest frequency is selected, and a number corresponding to the key is displayed.
