[0013] The lock of the present invention comprises a housing 10 comprising two mating halves or parts 11 and 12 . They are preferably cast or moulded, and comprise opposing walls 11a, 12a, and the housing parts are joinable along surrounding wall portions comprising rear wall portions 11b, 12b and front wall portions 11c, 12c.
[0014] A locking bolt 13 having parallel guide surfaces 13 a , 13 b is slidably guided between opposing parallel guide surfaces 14 , 15 formed in the material of the housing part 11 . One end of the spring 16 bears against the rear wall portion 11b, while its other end rests in the notch 17 of the latch 13 so as to press the latter on the front wall portion 11c (to the right in the figure). The step 13' in the guide surface 13b limits this movement of the bolt by abutting against the corresponding step 18 where the guide surface 15 terminates.
