Abstract

A communication device including: a pair of communication connectors connected to a pair of external devices; a communication controller for generating transmission data to be transmitted to the pair of external devices, and receiving reception data from the external devices to perform predetermined function; and a data path controller for controlling transmission of transmission data generated by the communication controller to a pair of external devices through a pair of communication connectors, transmission of reception data received through each communication connector to the communication controller , and send the received data to one of the external devices through the other communication connector. Therefore, the communication device can simplify the communication system, save communication time, and enable data communication irrespective of the connection order of the communication connectors.
