Abstract

A method for inputting Chinese character based on stroke pithy formula includes dividing basic character roots of Chinese character to be five basic strokes of horizontal, vertical, left falling, right falling and folding, classifying character root with 1-9 stroke and similar root onto the same type of key position, enabling to use stroke code and sound stroke code as well as digital stroke code to represent character root for inputting, utilizing 27 key positions on large keyboard and 9 digital keys on small keyboard to input Chinese character according to prepared stroke pithy formula.
