[0023] Referring to FIG. 1, a foot protection assembly according to one embodiment of the invention is generally shown at 10. The foot protection assembly 10 includes a release layer 12 and a sheet member, generally indicated at 14. The release layer 12 is preferably a non-stick film. The sheet member 14 may be formed from any of numerous materials including, but not limited to, paper and plastic. The sheet member 14 includes a first surface 16 and an opposing second surface 18. A low tack adhesive backing, generally indicated at 20, is disposed along at least a portion of the first surface 16. The first surface 16, with the adhesive backing 20, releasably contacts the release layer 12 so that at least a portion of the sheet member 14 can be peeled away from the release layer 12.

Abstract

A foot protection assembly is provided for protecting a foot from an underlying surface. The foot protection assembly includes a release layer and a sheet member. The sheet member has a first surface at least partially covered with an adhesive backing releasably contacting the release layer. The sheet member includes at least one perforation formed therealong for defining at least one slipper removable from the release layer at the perforation for adhering to the foot.
