AI Technical Summary

Benefits of technology

This patent describes a special clothes system that helps people feel cool by releasing water on their skin. It includes a shirt with a pocket where water can be stored, along with a tube that connects the pocket to the front of the shirt. When someone wears this outfit, they're exposed to the air around them which has been cooled down by the evaporating water.

Problems solved by technology

The technical problem addressed in this patent is how to improve clothing designed to help people cool down when they are overwhelmed with heat, such as while running marathons or working outdoors in hot temperatures. While these clothes can remove some of the sweat produced by the person's body, sometimes their own abilities to release thermal energy aren't enough to quickly lower the person's temperature back to optimal levels.

Embodiment Construction

[0014]Exemplary embodiments of clothing systems for reducing body temperature of a wearer of the clothing systems through evaporative cooling are described herein with reference to the accompanying drawings, beginning with FIG. 1. FIG. 1 sets forth a drawing illustrating a rear view of an exemplary clothing system (100) for reducing body temperature of a wearer of the clothing system (100) according to embodiments of the present invention. Body temperature is a measure of the thermal energy of a person's body and is often expressed in units of degrees using a Fahrenheit or Celsius temperature scale. Readers will note that the wearer of the exemplary clothing system (100) is omitted from FIG. 1 and the remaining FIGS. 2-6 for clarity.

[0015]The exemplary clothing system (100) of FIG. 1 includes a clothing article (102). The clothing article (102) of FIG. 1 is implemented as a garment for covering an upper torso of the garment's wearer such as, for example, a shirt or a jacket. The clo...

Abstract

The present invention discloses an evaporative cooling clothing system for reducing body temperature of a wearer of the clothing system. The clothing system may include a clothing article for covering the wearer and a liquid reservoir for storing liquid. The clothing system may also include a hollow transport defining a cavity. The hollow transport is connected to the clothing article and connected to the liquid reservoir to allow the liquid to pass through the cavity from the liquid reservoir to the clothing article. The clothing article exposes the liquid to an environment surrounding the clothing article for evaporation.
