The invention discloses an air conditioner. The air conditioner comprises a casing and at least one display part which is arranged on the outer edge of an inlet for displaying air conditioner running information and controlling operation. The inlet for inhaling air is arranged on the front surface of the casing, and an outlet for discharging air is arranged on the lower surface of the casing. The display part comprises a display panel, at least one light emitting device which is arranged behind the display panel for emitting light, and at least one switch which is arranged behind the display panel for switching on or off the display panel through selective contact. The display part provided by the invention can not only display the running status of the air conditioner, but also control the operation of the air conditioner, thereby making use of the space at the edge of the inlet more sufficiently, and bringing about more beautiful appearance for the air conditioner.
