Abstract

The present invention relates to a child birth assisting apparatus which assists a mother to give birth to a baby smoothly by automatically pressing the abdomen of the mother when the child birth is imminent. The child birth assisting apparatus which presses the abdomen of a mother to assist the delivery comprises a seating means which comprises a seating pad having a seating surface to be stablyseated on the back of the mother, and a pair of first connection members which is formed in opposite ends of the seating pad; and a pressure means which comprises a first belt member being adjustablein length and having a non-elastic material, a pair of second connection members mounted in opposite sides of the first belt member and detachably attached to the first connection members and at leastone air bag formed in an internal surface of the first belt member and expanding by air supplied from an external air supply device to press the abdomen of the mother.
