The invention relates to the application of gallnut extract as the antiseptic and antiseptic containing the gallnut extract. The gallnut extract mainly comprises at least one of the following extracted compounds: Chinese tannin, five gallanilide glucose (1, 2, 3, 4 and 6-Five-O- gallanilide-Beta-D-glucose) and multiply gallanilide glucose (Six or Seven to twevel gallanilide glucose). The invention has good effects for preventing and curing a plurality of crop diseases and is good for environment, which is characterized by low residue, high prevention effect, a plurality of action points and difficulty of generating drug resistance for germina.
