Abstract

This invention relates to a self-generating device and a portable electronic device using it, in which, the self-generating device generates electric energy when the portable electronic device vibrakes and the energy is stored via a circuit and provided to the internal circuit of the electronic device. Said self-generating device includes a support ring with an eccentical ring set in its channel, which is fixed with one or many magnetic balls, said channel is surrounded by one or multiple coils, each of which includes two nodes and is connected to an electric energy collecting circuit by the nodes, and vibration of said portable electronic device turns the eccentrical ring to drive the rotation of the balls to generate induction current in the coils then to be collected by the collecting circuit and provided to the portable electronic device.
