Abstract

The invention relates to a coding-compile method for computer management of the shipping materials, which is characterized in that the coding comprises precedence code area, master code area and postpositive code area. The precedence code area is the class code of the materials which is indicated by six digits, and the class code is divided into large class code bit, middle class code bit and small class code bit and indicated by two digits. The master code area is used for indicating the types and sizes of the material and the code bit is flexible code. The master code is twelve bits and can be indicated by digit, letter and sign. The postpositive code area is accessional attribution code indicated by four digits. The attribution code comprises attribution code 1 and attribution code 2, indicating the information on tool, material, standard, manufacture company, approval of ship corporation and the certificate. The invention replaces the descriptions of the perplexing character and attribution concept of the things with codings, therefore can class the materials by computer, facilitate transmission, storage and search of the information by computer and facilitate sharing of the data base.
