Problems solved by technology

In the prior art, technical solutions such as using an integer number of 16*16 macroblocks as a mapping unit and making the row length and column length of a mapping unit as close as possible cannot achieve the above-mentioned consideration of the data of the decoder and the memory. Bandwidth requirements for output, data input for display playback, and data input caused by motion compensation

Embodiment Construction

[0036] In the MPEG standard, each image is usually divided into multiple rectangular macroblocks, and image data is transmitted and stored in the form of macroblocks. Each macro block contains a certain number of lines, and each line contains a certain number of pixels. The invention further divides an image into multiple rectangular mapping units, and each mapping unit has a predetermined row length and column length.

[0037] With reference to Fig. 2, the present invention proposes a kind of image data to the address mapping method of memory, wherein each piece of image data can logically be divided into a plurality of identical rectangular macroblocks, and this memory has at least two storage arrays (bank) , each storage array (bank) contains multiple storage rows (row). The storage method of data in memory is one-dimensional address. The address mapping method includes the following steps:

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for mapping an image in a memory address, in which decoded image data is mapped in the corresponding address of the memory and each image data logics can be divided into a plurality of same rectangle macro-blocks; wherein, the memory has at least two memory arrays and each memory array includes a plurality of memory rows. The method includes the following steps: (1) the image is divided into a plurality of rectangle mapping unit and each mapping unit has predetermined row length and column length; (2) each mapping unit is continuously mapped on the memory from the left to the right horizontally, and then, from the top to the bottom vertically in sequence by taking one mapping unit as a unit; all pixels in one mapping unit are continuously mapped in the same memory row in the same memory array of the memory in turn; (3) when the same memory row of the memory is mapped out, the mapping array is switched, the next mapping unit is mapped; at least two memory arrays are mapped alternately until the image mapping is completed.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to image storage, in particular to an address mapping method of video image data to a synchronous dynamic random access memory (SDRAM). Background technique [0002] With the improvement of people's living standards, various multimedia consumer electronic products are becoming more and more common in people's lives. Audio and video coding is a very important technology in multimedia consumer electronics products. At present, the MPEG series standards and H26X series standards commonly used in the world are technical standards related to audio and video coding. In these standards, data is often stored in the memory in block form, which poses some difficulties for memory access using linear addresses. In addition, due to the large amount of audio and video coding data, the memory access bandwidth requirements are also increased accordingly. . [0003] When accessing the memory, if the accessed storage unit is in a different row a...
