Abstract

The invention discloses a method for identifying a relative position of network nodes. The method comprises the steps as follows: network nodes obtain a relative distance between the network nodes and other network nodes; the information concerning relative distance between the network nodes is interacted; the relative position between the network nodes can be identified based on the relative distance between the network nodes. The invention discloses a system for identifying the relative position of the network nodes. By measuring the relative distance between the network nodes, the relative position between network nodes can be identified. The technique of the invention requires no extra hardware and reference information about node positions, thus reducing network hardware burden and networking difficulty.
