The digital TV set-top box is a conversion device that converts a digital TV signal to an analog signal and forms a digital TV terminal with the TV. The digital TV set-top box can be an independent device showing by the mode of a set-top box or can be part of the TV. The relevant information showing the present working status of the digital TV set-top box is sent to the server according to requirement by making use of CATV two-way network. The method completely solves the problem that the operation business cannot know the presentworking status of the TV terminal and builds a bridge of instant information communication between the TV terminal and the operation business.
