Abstract

A breathing mask assembly for delivering breathable gas to a patient includes a frame having a front surface and a rear surface adapted to face the patient. The bracket includes a body provided with a through hole for introducing breathable gas into a nasal breathing cavity. An elbow assembly is rotatably connected to the front surface of the bracket. The elbow assembly includes a swivel elbow forming an intake passage and an exhaust passage separated from the intake passage by a baffle. The elbow assembly includes an end portion that interfaces with the bore of the bracket.
