This invention discloses a gas and riot helmet, comprising a helmet body, a
mask assembly, a clean
air channel, and a filter replacement mechanism. The
mask assembly is mounted on the helmet body and can switch between an open position and a sealed wearing position, forming a sealed contact with the wearer's face and defining the
breathing chamber in the sealed wearing position; the clean
air channel communicates with the
breathing chamber. The filter replacement mechanism includes a chamber, an external door, a shut-off valve, a carrier, a shifting component, and an
interlocking component. The chamber contains a clean air connection chamber, an isolation transfer chamber, and an external access chamber, which are separated from each other. The carrier and shifting component allow the filter to switch between a working position, an isolation position, and a loading position. The
interlocking component restricts the sequence of action of the external door, shut-off valve, and shifting component, ensuring that the filter can be replaced while the
mask assembly remains sealed, thereby reducing the risk of the
breathing chamber being exposed to the external contaminated environment during replacement and improving continuous protection safety.
