Embodiment Construction

[0024] Since the circuit according to the prior art has been briefly described, it will not be described again below. Furthermore, the same reference numerals are used for the same items in the prior art circuit and the circuit according to the invention. Also for the sake of brevity of description, when describing the best implementation mode, the description that overlaps with the above summary of the invention is omitted. Therefore, please consider the following embodiments in combination with the content of the above summary of the invention.

[0025] The device according to the invention shown in Figure 2 consists of three antennas, two of which, 7 and 8, are dual channel broadband antennas with a special connection to the FEM which will be described in detail later. Wideband and dual-band (multi-band) antennas include two decoupled RF paths. The device also includes a third antenna 6 for the 5GHz band only. For example, the antenna may be a conventionally used single-b...

Abstract

For a simultaneous dual-band reception or transmission of video signals and data in a domestic environment, a terminal in a communication system is made up of a front end module connected to digital processing circuits via a circuit designed for MIMO techniques. At least two antennas (7, 8) linked to the terminal are broadband and dual-access, each of the accesses correspond ing to a path for receiving or transmitting signals in a first or a second frequency band. The front end module (FEM) comprises first switches (S1, S2) connected to the paths (A, B, C) for receiving or transmitting signals in the first frequency band, and second switches (D1) connected to the paths (D, E) for receiving or transmitting signals in the second frequency band. It also comprises selective high-pass filters in the paths for receiving or transmitting signals in the highest frequency band.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a method for simultaneous wireless transmission of video data streams or streams and high speed data in a domestic environment. The invention also relates to a terminal for simultaneous wireless transmission of video data streams or simultaneous wireless transmission of streams and high-speed data. More specifically, the present invention relates to a framework in which the IEEE 802.11abg (Wi-Fi) WLAN standard and the emerging 802.11n standard are implemented. Background technique [0002] Wi-Fi technology that complies with IEEE802.11abg standard and works in frequency band 2.4 to 2.5GHz and frequency band 4.9 to 5.9GHz is the best technology for high-speed wireless transmission in internal settings today. The emerging standard 802.11n, derived from these standards, will bring significant improvements in speed and coverage with internal settings in the same frequency bands. More specifically, transmission of several ...
