Abstract

The present invention provides a driving method, a driving device, a display device, and electronic equipment capable of significantly shortening the display switching time in a particle moving type display device. As a solution, when the display panel of the timepiece is driven by the driving device, a halftone driving step is provided so that during the halftone driving, the display panel performs display switching according to the difference of the display color in an unsaturated halfway state. By performing intermediate color driving in this way, especially when continuous redrawing is required, when the frequency of redrawing is high, the display switching time can be greatly shortened, and the power consumption can be lower than that in the case of constant saturation driving.
