Abstract

The present invention relates to methods and devices for controlling retransmissions in a wireless communication system. The present invention provides a method for controlling communications between a base station and a mobile device in the presence of transmission gaps. The method includes skipping transmissions that overlap the transmission gap. An alternative method includes postponing the transmission until the next available transmission time.
