Abstract

The present invention relates to a method and a device which are used to control the operations of a roving machine The roving machine is composed of a drafting roller rotating mechanism, an ingot shell rotating mechanism, a bobbin rotating mechanism and a lifting and lowering mechanism, wherein the drafting roller rotating mechanism is used to drive a drafting roller to rotate, the ingot shell rotating mechanism is used to drive a ingot shell to rotate, the bobbin rotating mechanism is used to drive a bobbin to rotate, the lifting and lowering mechanism is used to lift or lower the bobbin. The drafting roller rotating mechanism can operate separately from the ingot shell rotating mechanism, the bobbin rotating mechanism and the lifting and lowering mechanism.
