Abstract

The embodiment of the invention discloses a method for distributing gateway anchor points, comprising the following steps: network side equipment receives a message which is sent by a user terminal and contains a request for the addresses of the anchor points; the addresses of the anchor points are acquired after the message is received; and the message containing the acquired addresses of the anchor points is returned to the user terminal. Correspondingly, the embodiment of the invention provides the network side equipment which comprises a receiving unit, a processing unit and a sending unit, wherein, the receiving unit is used for receiving the message which is sent by the user terminal and contains the request for the addresses of the anchor points, the processing unit is used for acquiring the addresses of the gateway anchor points after the receiving unit receives the message, and the sending unit is used for returning the message that contains the acquired addresses of the gateway anchor points to the user terminal. The embodiment of the invention further provides the user terminal. The technical scheme of the embodiment of the invention can solve the distribution problem of the gateway anchor points in network architecture that supports the mobile management among heterogeneous access systems.
