The method comprises the following steps: receiving a point-to-point protocol over Ethernet (PPPoE) account on a source Ethernet sent by a network control plane; dialing a service gateway based on the source PPPoE account, so that the service gateway creates a PPPoE tunnel between the CPE on the source user side and the CPE on the target user side corresponding to the target end based on the obtained source PPPoE account and the source user equipment identifier and account matching information sent by the network control plane; wherein the account matching information comprises a matching relationship between different PPPoE accounts and the user equipment identifier; acquiring a tunnel address of the PPPoE tunnel fed back by the service gateway; and according to the tunnel address, transmitting a to-be-transmitted video sent by the source end to a service gateway through the PPPoE tunnel, so that the service gateway sends the to-be-transmitted video to a target end through the target user side CPE. By adopting the method, network transmission of flow among different communication protocols can be realized.

A system, satellite and method for performing asynchronous communication in a non- terrestrial communication network are proposed. The system comprises at least one user equipment (UE); a constellation of satellites, with at least one satellite, and a ground network. Each satellite of the constellation comprises a base station configured to communicate with the at least one UE and an onboard core network (CN) element (C-SGN-SAT) to perform a first subset of CN functions, including the functions required by the satellite to handle an S1 interface with the base station and the functions to support Non-Access Stratum (NAS) protocol signaling with the at least one UE. The ground network comprises a ground-based CN element (C-SGN-GND) to perform a second subset of CN functions. The first subset of CN functions and the second subset of CN functions form a complete set of CN functions of a CIoT Serving Gateway Node (C-SGN).

The communication method is suitable for a first network device deployed in a first satellite, and comprises the following steps: receiving data from a terminal device; under the condition that a communication link between the first network equipment and a first service gateway deployed on the ground is unavailable, data is stored, and the first service gateway is used for data transmission of the terminal equipment; receiving information of a first NTN gateway, wherein a communication link exists between the first NTN gateway and the first service gateway; and sending the stored data to the first service gateway through the first NTN gateway according to the information of the first NTN gateway under the condition that a communication link between the first network equipment and the first NTN gateway is available. In a scene of satellite storage and forwarding, a first network device ensures that data of a terminal device can be successfully transmitted from the first network device to a first service gateway through a first NTN gateway when a communication link between the first NTN gateway and the first network device is available according to information of the first NTN gateway.
