The gold sol substrates with different degree modifications of calixarene can be obtained by controlling the soaking time of the gold sol membrane in a calixarene ethanol solution; and the optimal surface enhanced Raman substrate suitable for field detection of the polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon is obtained by comparing the enhancement effects of all substrates. Because the calixarene has lyophobic property and can protect a metal nanomaterial from corroding by seawater, therefore the substrate is also suitable for detection of the polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon in the seawater.
