6 results about "Online community" patented technology

An online community, also called an internet community or web community, is a virtual community whose members interact with each other primarily via the Internet. For many, online communities may feel like home, consisting of a "family of invisible friends". Those who wish to be a part of an online community usually have to become a member via a specific site and thereby gain access to specific content or links. An online community can act as an information system where members can post, comment on discussions, give advice or collaborate. Commonly, people communicate through social networking sites, chat rooms, forums, e-mail lists and discussion boards. People may also join online communities through video games, blogs and virtual worlds. The rise in popularity of Web 2.0 websites has allowed for easier real-time communication and connection to others, and facilitated the introduction of new ways for information to be exchanged.

An Online Discourse Active Depolarization Method Based on Evolutionary Multi-Agent Cooperation

PendingCN122312123AEngineeringDecision taking
This invention discloses a proactive depolarization method for online discourse based on evolutionary multi-agent collaboration, belonging to the interdisciplinary field of social network content governance and artificial intelligence technology. The process is divided into three stages in chronological order: perception and decision-making, execution and amplification, and feedback and iteration. By introducing a multi-agent collaboration and evolutionary mechanism, and using artificial intelligence to proactively intervene in online interactive discourse, it reduces the spread of opposing opinions in online communities. This enables the governance system to possess decision-making and action capabilities similar to an organized team, achieving real-time governance of the online discourse environment, proactively guiding dialogue towards de-escalation, and reducing the spread of extreme emotions and biased viewpoints.

Method and system for creating augmented reality digital landmarks via photo mosaics and their online community of participants

Methods and systems for creating augmented reality digital landmarks and their participant online communities via photo mosaics are disclosed. The subject matter of the present disclosure relates to computerized systems, and more specifically to creating purpose-specific and precise location digital landmarks (two-dimensional (2D), three-dimensional (3D), or holographic) based on photo mosaic technology to be experienced via augmented / extended reality equipment, which enables and facilitates the formation of purpose-specific online communities among participating members. The invention aims to: create digital landmark objects and impactful virtual murals and art installations (two-dimensional (2D), three-dimensional (3D), or holographic) that elevate awareness of important causes and bring people together. Photo mosaics and social media platforms accessed through AR build purpose-specific digital fixed landmarks; harness the power of images to bring global citizens together around shared goals and values (create purpose-specific online communities). Launch crowdfunding campaigns and shared non-fungible token projects (NFTs) to provide wider exposure and funding for, for example, social good initiatives.

A software ecosystem offline community detection method based on co-evolution optimization

PendingCN122367455ACommunity structureEngineering
This invention provides an offline community detection method for software ecosystems based on co-evolutionary optimization. Software ecosystem networks are often dynamic, forming dynamic networks. Based on the network formation mechanism, dynamic networks can be divided into offline and online networks. The goal of dynamic network community detection in software ecosystems is to efficiently reveal the community structure and evolutionary patterns of the system, contributing to understanding individual interaction behavior and promoting the healthy and sustainable development of software ecosystems. This invention segments the dynamic network into several continuous multi-layer networks based on the similarity of the network at different time periods. It considers both the saliency of the intra-layer network community structure and the similarity of the inter-layer network community division. Nine offline software ecosystem networks with different characteristics are constructed using data crawled from GitHub. Comparative experimental results show that the proposed offline community detection method for software ecosystems is superior.
