Abstract

The invention provides a method and a system for realizing call address transmission in an IMS network, so that a called user can acquire the current address of a calling user when the calling gives out a call. The method comprises: a source S-CSCF responds to the call given out by calling user equipment and transmits a request on literal address information of the calling user equipment to a source AS, and the request comprises current position information of the calling user equipment; the source AS returns a message which comprises the literal address information corresponding to the current position information of the calling user equipment to the source S-CSCF; and the source S-CSCF transmits the message which comprises the literal address information to called user equipment.
