The embodiment of the invention starts the hot backup process while starting the activity process, so that a service request can be transferred timely to the hot backup process which provides services when the activity process has fault, the fault recover time is shortened, and the availability of the whole system is improved. Meanwhile, the embodiment of the invention can meet the requirement on the high availability in the presence of single server.
