Abstract

The embodiment of the invention discloses a method for assigning an address to an indoor unit of a central air-conditioning system, a device and a system thereof, wherein, the method for assigning the address to the indoor unit of the central air-conditioning system comprises the following steps: an outdoor unit sends a polling message to the indoor unit; wherein, the polling message comprises an outdoor testing address generated by the outdoor unit; the indoor unit judges whether the testing address in the received polling message is consistent with a self assigned testing address, and sends a polling message response in the case of consistency; the outdoor unit judges whether the number of the received polling message response is one, and if so, the outdoor unit assigns the address and sends address setting commands to the indoor unit sending the polling message response, wherein, the address setting command sent each time comprises a unique communication address; and the indoor unit sets the self address according to the address setting commands.
