Abstract

The retardant is characterized in that according to the gross mass of a chemical retardant, 0.5 to 2 percent of oxidizing agent is dissolved in water, and then 1 to 1.5 percent of foaming agent, 0.2 to 0.4 percent of foam stabilizing agent, 0.05 to 0.1 percent of thickening agent and 0.05 to 0.1 percent of emulsifying agent are sequentially added and stirred uniformly so as to prepare the chemical retardant; according to the gross mass of a physical retardant, 10 to 15 percent of inorganic salt and other compositions are added by the same method as the former so as to prepare the physical retardant; when the retardant is used, the chemical retardant is diluted into an aqueous solution with a concentration of between 1.76 and 4.1 weight percent first, and the aqueous solution is sprayed to a target coal layer area; after 30 minutes to 1 hour, the physical retardant which is diluted into an aqueous solution with a concentration of between 11.06 and 16.9 weight percent is sprayed into the same area; and inhibition foams are covered on the surface of the coal layer so as to achieve the effect of preventing the spontaneous combustion for a long time on the coal layer of the area.
