The socket comprises a cylindrical cavity, wherein one side of the cylindrical cavity is provided with a long opening along the length direction of the cylindrical cavity; the inner end of the long opening is provided with a folded circular arc. When in use, the outer side of the socket is sleeved in a circular hole on one side of a B-type ultrasonic inspection instrument; when the B-type ultrasonic inspection probe is required to be placed, the B-type ultrasonic inspection probe is transferred inwards from the outer side of the long opening and finally hung in the folded circular arc; and the B-type ultrasonic inspection probe is only required to be withdrawn from the folded circular arc firstly and then shifted out of the long opening when the B-type ultrasonic inspection probe is required again.
