Embodiment Construction
[0036] figure 1 An embodiment of a central lighting unit 10 that recognizes the spatial configuration of a plurality of remote light sensing devices 11 , 12 , 13 , 14 is shown in . The central lighting unit 10 is the display screen which embeds the identifiers 1, 2, 3, 4 in the AmbiLight of the screen or in the light elements of the backlight. Typically these light elements are LEDs or gas discharge lamps. Two of the remote light sensing devices are speakers 11, 12 and two are lights 13, 14 such as Philips LivingColor lights. Each light sensing device is placed at a desired location in the same room as the central lighting device. The different identifiers 1, 2, 3 and 4 embedded in them are sent in different directions when light is emitted. The identifier is received by the loudspeakers 11, 12 and the lights 13, 14 and after communication with the central lighting device 10, the correct configuration can be achieved.
