The payment method comprises: setting a payment threshold value in the domestic equipment; when the domestic equipment detects that the current resource residual amount is smaller than the payment threshold, initiating a payment request to a corresponding payment center through the payment device, wherein the payment request carries bank account number, password and payment amount information; and when receiving a payment success confirmation message fed back by the payment center, notifying the domestic equipment of adding resources purchased by the payment amount into the current resource residual amount of the domestic equipment through the payment device. When the equipment, method, system and device are adopted, various fees for using prepayment domestic equipment in family life can be paid conveniently; and thus, a large amount of time is saved for digital family users, the practicality and comfort of digital families are improved considerably, and more potential users are developed.
