The method comprises the following steps of: receiving a control request command used for requesting video data from the client by the unicast server, wherein the control request command carries synchronous request information; generating synchronous response information by the unicast server according to stored video data from the unicast server, wherein the synchronous response information carries a parameter for playing the video data; and sending the video data and a control response signaling to the client by the unicast server, wherein the control response signaling carries the synchronous response information so as to ensure that the client plays the video data according to the parameter carried in the synchronous response information. The invention avoids the condition that the client has error videos, ensures that the videos of the client can be synchronously played and improves the user experience.
