Abstract

The invention discloses a motion tracing method and system. At least three accelerometers are utilized to be combined into a frame in a self-centering structure to trace the motion trail of an object. Acceleration signals sensed by the accelerometers are utilized to acquire the trail, the displacement and the rotating angle of the object through an extrapolation method, numerical correction and vector conversion. The method comprises the following steps of: providing and arranging at least three accelerometers on the object and setting a relative position between adjacent accelerometers; calculating the second positions of the at least three accelerometers after a special time difference by using the extrapolation method according to the first positions of the at least three accelerometers and the acceleration values corresponding to the first positions; correcting the second positions of the at least three accelerometers according to relative positions of the accelerometers so that each accelerometer has a correction position; deciding a conversion matrix according to the correction position and an initial position of each accelerometer; and acquiring the rotating angle of the object according to the conversion matrix.
