Embodiment Construction

[0015] In this specification, the words "upper", "middle", "lower" and similar terms are used, as can be seen in the drawings to which reference is made. Those skilled in the art recognize that in use the different parts may have other orientations.

[0016] In machine 1 ( figure 1 ), the web of packaging material is formed into a cartridge 2. A pourable food product is filled into the cartridge 2 and an aseptic hermetically sealed package of the food product is formed. Such machines are well known and therefore only briefly described here. The cartridge 2 is sealed longitudinally in a sealing device 3 and a preformed package is then formed from the sealed cartridge in a forming unit 4 . In the forming of this cylinder 2, a plurality of folding rollers 5, 6, 8 are provided, which are arranged at three different heights. The folding rollers 5, 6, 8 progressively form the ring. Thus, the uppermost folding rollers 5 collectively have a C-shape, while the lowermost folding ro...

Abstract

The invention relates to a position for controlling a design modification curve of a machine for packaging pourable food. A mechanism forms a transmission mechanism; the movement of a cylinder (22, 22') is transmitted to a cam (23, 23') with the design modification curve. The transmission mechanism comprises a bracket (25, 25'), a lever (24, 24') and a link rod arm (26, 26'). The lever (24, 24') is rotatably respectively connected with the cam (23, 23'), the bracket (25, 25') and the cylinder (22, 22') at joints (37, 38, 39, 41, 42).

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a machine for packaging pourable food products. More precisely, the invention relates to a mechanism for controlling the position of the machine design correction curve. Background technique [0002] The invention develops on known machines in which packages are formed from tubes of packaging material formed from continuous, longitudinally sealed webs. To manufacture the packages, the web of packaging material is unrolled from the reel and conveyed through a sterile sterile room. The sterilized web is then folded into a cylinder and longitudinally sealed to form a continuous, vertical, longitudinally sealed cylinder in known manner. The cartridge is continuously filled with pourable food products and then conveyed to a forming and transverse sealing unit for forming individual packages. The packages are separated by cutting transversely sealed sections and folded by machine into the shape of the final package. [0003] The ...
