AI Technical Summary

Benefits of technology

The technical effect of this new design for an electrically operated locking mechanism used with doors that have sensors located inside can detect if someone has intentionally left them without being detected by any means provided within their body. This makes sure they don't leave anyone behind before getting hurt during emergency situations.

Problems solved by technology

There are many technical problem addressed with current electrically driven retraction systems that can be dangerous when they close due to potential collisions between objects or obstructions caused by moving parts within them.

Abstract

The present invention discloses a safe electric door. The safe electric door comprises two electric door leaves, buffer components and detection units. The detection units are pressure-sensitive sensors which are used for detecting whether a foreign matter is clamped in the electric door, and are clamped in dividable buffer components that are provided at door shielding columns or door shielding parts. According to the safe electric door of the invention, as the detection units such as the pressure-sensitive sensors are clamped in the dividable buffer components and are equipped at the door shielding column of the electric door or the door shielding part of at least one elevator door, the remarkable effects such as no mis-detection and convenient replacement operation of the sensor can be obtained. Even when the hand or the body of a person is clamped accidently, the detection units cause the electric door to retreat through transmitting a corresponding signal after detecting. Thus the safety of the electric door is greatly improved, and safety insurance is brought for the people's life.
