Embodiment Construction

[0058] Specific embodiments are described in the following detailed description with reference to the accompanying drawings. Of course, these specific examples may be modified and will not limit the scope of the invention as set forth in the claims.

[0059] figure 1 and figure 2 An apparatus for switching between rebreathing circuit mode and open circuit mode in an anesthesia system is shown. The anesthesia system includes a respirator 1 , a breathing circuit 2 and a fresh gas mixer 3 . The subject 4 is connected to the breathing circuit 2 via an endotracheal tube 28 .

[0060] exist figure 1In , the respirator 1 is connected to a gas source 5, typically pressurized air or sometimes oxygen. The respirator 1 includes a reciprocating unit 6 for compressing gas toward the subject's lungs for inhalation; and a flow control valve 7 for controlling inhalation from a gas source 5 along a first conduit 8 to the reciprocating unit 6 gas flow. The respirator 1 also includes an ...

Abstract

The invention discloses a device and method for supplying breathing air to breathe. The device comprises a reciprocating unit for controlling accepted inbreathing airflow of breathing motion and an air mixer for supplying fresh airflow. Furthermore, the device also comprises a breathing loop which is used for guiding exhaled airflow to the reciprocating unit, introducing fresh air from the gas mixer for breathing, and introducing the airflow from the reciprocating unit for inbreathing, wherein the breathing loop comprises a CO2 remover which removes carbon dioxide from the gas. The device comprises a first bypass passage as well, wherein the first bypass passage moves around the reciprocating unit and connects the breathing loop to the inbreathing airflow on the upstream of the reciprocating unit. The invention also provides a corresponding method for supplying the breathing air to breathe.

Description

technical field [0001] The present disclosure generally relates to devices and methods for supplying breathing gas for breathing. Background technique [0002] Efficiency requirements for hospitals are becoming ever more demanding, requiring surgical procedures to be performed on more patients in less time and at lower cost. However, patient safety is the main requirement. Anesthesia machines are used to anesthetize and ventilate patients in hospital operating rooms, intensive care units, or other patient care settings. [0003] The patient breathing circuit can be a rebreathing circuit or an open circuit. with CO 2 Absorber rebreathing circuit when volatile anesthetics or NO are present during anesthesia 2 Or use both. Instead, an open circuit is used for intravenous (IV) anesthesia. [0004] Therefore, inhalational anesthesia is delivered using a rebreathing circuit comprising: an inspiratory limb, through which the patient receives inhaled breathing gas from the ven...
