Abstract

A switching device has a slide block comprising an engaging protrusion arranged between a lamp switch knob and a fog lamp switch knob. When the lamp switch knob is in a front lamp or a tail lamp position, the slide block is moved to the fog lamp switch knob side via a cam mechanism, so that the engaging protrusion joints with an engaging ball 65 of a retainer 64 of the fog lamp switch knob to select / retain lighting position of the fog lamp switch knob. When the lamp switch knob is closed, the slide block is moved to the lamp switch knob side via a spring so as to separate from the engaging ball and return the fog lamp switch knob back to a closing position, thereby preventing the fog lamp switch remaining in the opening position after the fog lamp is turned on. In this way, when the lamp switch is at a position other than closing position, the fog lamp switch can be set at a position selected. And, only when the lamp switch is moved to the closing position, the fog lamp switch is interlocked and moved to the closing position.
