Problems solved by technology

[0006] Another problem with vibrational excitation is that the guide vanes vibrate due to the vibrational excitation, which leads to material fatigue of the turbine blades and of the rotor tip in which the turbine blades are arranged

Embodiment Construction

[0025] figure 1 A cross-sectional view of the configuration in radial direction is shown. That is, the radial direction is perpendicular to the drawing plane. The configuration includes a first blade 1 and a second blade 2 arranged adjacent to said first blade 1 . The first blade 1 and the second blade 2 are fixedly arranged via rotor tips on a rotor, not shown in detail. The rotor rotates about an axis of rotation 3 . The first vane 1 and the second vane 2 are elongate in the radial direction and pass through a flow medium inflow (not shown in detail) during operation, the first vane 1 and the second vane 2 rotating in the direction of rotation 4 .

[0026] The first blade 1 is arranged adjacent to the second blade 2 . The first blade 1 comprises a coupling element 5 which is fixedly connected to the first blade 1 in a manner not shown in detail. The coupling element 5 can be fixedly connected to the first blade 1 , for example by screwing, riveting or by welding. The v...

Abstract

The invention relates to a damping system for damping the vibrations of a blade union, wherein blades arranged in a neighboring manner are coupled to one another via a coupling element (5), wherein the coupling element (5) is arranged fixed in a first blade (1) and extends into the second blade (2), wherein the coupling element (5) is not arranged in the second blade (2) but rather solely contacts there such that, as a consequence of centrifugal forces, a free end (9) of the coupling element (5) presses against the second blade (2) and a friction force thus occurs, leading to an energy dissipation and vibrations being thus damped.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a construction comprising a first vane and a second vane arranged adjacent to the first vane. Background technique [0002] Turbines in the sense of this application are, for example, compressors, gas turbines and steam turbines. The above-mentioned turbomachines have in common that they consist of a housing and a rotor mounted rotatably in the housing, wherein a flow channel is formed between the rotor and the housing through which a flow medium can flow. The flowing medium is steam in a steam turbine. During operation of the steam turbine there is the danger that the flow over the streamlined guide blades causes vibrations of the blades which lead to turbulence effects. The guide vanes can be damaged, for example, in the form of fractures. It is therefore attempted to modify the guide vanes in such a way that vibrations are avoided or damped so that no damage to the guide vanes occurs. [0003] It is known that the shroud...
