Abstract

The invention discloses a wireless infrared (IR) remote control device capable of really realizing multi-purpose remote control as well as an operating method thereof. The wireless IR remote control device comprises a wireless network control module, a microcontroller module, a FLASH memory and an IR module, wherein, a control receiving port of the wireless control module is connected with the microcontroller module; an IR port of the microcontroller module is connected with the IR module; and a memory port of the microcontroller module is connected with the FLASH memory. The operating method comprises the following steps: the wireless network control module transfers a command to the microcontroller module; the microcontroller module receives and analyzes IR codes from the IR module during the process of learning the IR codes; the microcontroller module analyzes and modulates the IR codes to be sent to the IR module so as to obtain encoding rules of various controlled IR equipment; and then the microcontroller module controls the IR module to send the corresponding IR codes. In the invention, remote control can be realized by virtue of the advantages of the zigbee control module.
