The saussurea involucrata culture has functions of kidney warming, yang activating, wind expelling, dampness eliminating, menstruation regulating, and blood flow promoting. The saussurea involucrata culture can be used for treating diseases such as wind-damp-cold arthralgia, rheumatoid arthritis, hypogastrium crymodynia, and menoxenia. According to the saussurea involucrata culture extract, alcohol extraction, condensation, and spray-drying methods are adopted, such that saussurea involucrate flavone and saussurea involucrate polysaccharides with relatively high purities are obtained.
